Welcome to my home page!

My colleagues and I designed My Doctor Online to make it easier for you to take care of your health care needs. We’ve included a variety of superior online programs and health information that we have evaluated or written ourselves. Providing you with only the highest quality materials demonstrates our commitment to giving you the best quality care.

Background

I was born and raised in upstate New York. I came to California during my four years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force. After my tour of duty, I continued my education by attending Fresno State. I completed my Anesthesia residency in Minnesota and returned to Fresno in 1984. I spent the next 12 years working at Valley Medical Center. I came to Kaiser Permanente in 1996 and accepted the position as Chief of Nurse Anesthesia in 1999.

Roles and Responsibilities

During my many years of giving anesthesia, I have learned some valuable things. I tailor my anesthesia to the needs of my patient, I keep it simple, and I treat my patients the same way I would want my family treated. I feel that I am good at my job because I enjoy my job.

I agree with the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of member satisfaction and patient safety. It will be my pleasure to provide my services to you and your family.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
