My Biography

I came to practice at Kaiser Permanente’s San Francisco Medical Center because of the emphasis it places on the well-being of both its patients and employees. I am appreciative of this focus, because a strong sense of community is important to me. Kaiser aims to ensure the happiness and success of its staff and medical teams, and that alone speaks volumes about the strength of the organization.

The emphasis on preventative medicine is absolutely critical. Also important is the continuity of care, where having the ability to see patients on an outpatient basis minimizes the need for hospitalization. Our integrated, comprehensive health care model helps to keep health care costs down for our members.

I have a strong interest in advocacy and preventative medicine that stems from my work with domestic violence victims. Through these experiences, I have developed an interest in determining why certain individuals are prone to substance abuse, while others are not. I plan to be actively involved in this area.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, visiting the park, reading, and doing activities with my son. I love to eat fruits and vegetables, and I believe that maintaining a positive attitude is what truly makes life more enjoyable

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
