About Me
I was born in Hong Kong and came to the US during my formative years. While English is my primary language, I am also fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Thanks to the diversity of the Bay Area, I am able to maintain my language skills without to much difficulty.
I have always known that I want to take care of people. Medicine is very challenging, intellectually stimulating, and rewarding. Every patient I have met is unique, and each one has his/her distinctive set of circumstances. It is indeed gratifying to see my patients get better.
The main reason I joined Kaiser was because I share the same belief as the company current slogan -- “live long and thrive.” I stronger believe in preventive medicine and want to do everything I can to help each of my patients to understand his/her illness. In additional, I make every effort to assist my patient to prevent worsening of his/her disease state whenever possible.
Personally, I enjoy traveling, dining, and cooking with my husband in my spare time. We love cooking together – it's one of the ways we spend quality time.
