About Me

I am proud to say that I was born in a Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara, CA. I grew up in the north bay city of Santa Rosa. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis. I then received my second undergraduate degree in Nursing from USF. I work from several years as a Registered Nurse in a variety of medical specialty areas including Labor and Delivery, before returning to graduate school. I completed my Master of Science in Nursing with Certifications as a Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from UCSF. Since 2000, I have been working as a Certified Nurse Midwife caring for women and delivering babies at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo, CA. I am very happy to have joined the team of providers in the Women's Health Department at Kaiser Vallejo in 2005 and I look forward to delivering lots of Healthy Babies at Kaiser Vallejo.

Why I Like Being A Nurse Midwife

As a Nurse Midwife, I am very privileged to be part of the intimate, sacred and miraculous event of birth on a daily basis. It is always amazing!

Practice Philosophy

I truly believe it is important for women to be well informed and educated about their care and options during pregnancy and childbirth. I feel it is my job to provide women with as much information and education and support them in their safe and healthy choices so that they can have a happy, healthy and empowering pregnancy and childbirth experience.

What I like about practicing at Kaiser Permanente

I really like the collaboration and team work at Kaiser. It is nice to be part of team that is really working hard together to provide excellent care and to have excellent outcomes for all its members.
