Our Department

Welcome to the South San Francisco Kaiser Permanente Department of Psychiatry, Chemical Dependency Services website. Our goal at Kaiser Permanente is be your health plan of choice and deliver high quality drug and alcohol recovery services to you and your family.

We serve the South San Francisco Departments of Psychiatry and we are located in San Bruno at 1001 Sneath Lane, 2nd floor, Suite 204. We have comprehensive treatment programs for both adults and adolescents, and we also provide support for those who have just recently quit and need support to stay sober. We also offer treatment to those who are contemplating whether they need to make a change in their use of substances. We offer a range of services to those who have been affected by the disease of addiction and we encourage you to search our website and discover the many programs we have to offer.

If you have questions or would like to enroll in any of our programs please call the telephone number above between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays. A mental health professional will speak with you, answer any questions you may have, and collect all the information necessary to schedule an evaluation by one of our providers.

There is always a mental health professional available on call, 24-hours per day, seven days per week for emergencies.

How to Get Care

Members may call the department directly to make a new appointment. A referral is not required. Please plan on arriving 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out forms. Our department follows strict confidentiality requirements as defined by law and medical center policy.
