Thank you for visiting my home page. I have had the pleasure to work for Kaiser Permanente since 1989. I am currently the outpatient clinical specialist with an emphasis on working with patients with neurological problems. I often provide care and treatment to members with balance, walking, and other neurological problems. I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Assoication and as well as a member of the Geriatrics and Neurology speical interest sections. I teach several classes in fall reduction, neck care, and back care as well as train therapist on use of partial body weight support walking system. I also work with pediatric patients and their families to help promote normal movement skills and developmental milestones.

I look forward to working with you and your family to help you achieve your goals. I invite you to take a look at some of the links included on the navigation bar to the left for some helpful information about my profession and physical therapy treatment. When someone develops a neurological condition it can be a difficult challenge for both the patient and family members. My role is to maximize one's ability to function and maintain the highest level of independence. Often we cannot cure one's disease but we can develop skills and mobility to achieve functional goals and restore meaning to one's life.

I am happily married to a special woman for 22 years and have two teenage children. My interests include music, jet skiing, and playing golf. I have a dog that I try to walk daily for exercise.

My Credentials

Internship Kaiser Permanente Outpatient Clinc in Stockton
Internship Mercy Neurological Outpatient Clinic in Sacramento

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
