Welcome to my home page!

I chose to become a physical therapist so that I can help people move. I’ve always been a very active person myself, and I enjoy helping people recover from injuries that are keeping them from the things they like to do. Our department is very pro-active, and I like teaching people appropriate exercises to help them get better.

Undergraduate Education:
Harvard College, Cambridge, MA
Major: Social Studies

Professional Education:
MSPT from University of California, SF and San Francisco State University

Professional Affiliations:
Executive Committee Member of the Golden Gate District American Physical Therapy Association

Languages spoken: English, Spanish

I’ve been with Kaiser since 2003, when I began working in Vallejo. In 2005 I had the opportunity to join Kaiser San Rafael. I enjoy practicing in this setting because I’m on a team of medical care providers whose goal is to provide the best care for our patients. I also like our emphasis on patient empowerment.

When I’m not working, I’m usually with my two little boys. We’re an active family. My favorite activities are hiking, backpacking, skiing and windsurfing. My husband and I love to take wilderness trips.

Other formative experiences: collegiate rowing, leading wilderness expedition courses, and living in Latin America for 8 months to learn Spanish.

Thanks for visiting me on the web and I look forward to our next appointment.
