Introduction

I took physical therapy in college as a preparatory course for medicine because I wanted to be a doctor at that time but everything changed when I started liking what I’m doing in Physical Therapy & eventually lost my interests in pursuing medical school. I am influenced by patients that I dealt with my daily encounter- seeing them get better & helping them gain their independence back to continue with their own lives again- that made me realize this is really my mission. That satisfaction brought me over to stick with physical therapy. I believe that in order to function & do your work well, you have to love what you are doing & I love what I am doing because I knew that I am directed to the right path.

Background

Born & raised in Philippines, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at QCMCC( Quezon City, Philippines ) in yr 2000, attended FEU (Morayta, Manila) from yr 1995-1997. I did volunteer works at Veterans Memorial Medical Center, Quezon City Philippines for 3 months & at the same time worked as a travel PT then I joined an out-pt clinic (private-owned) for almost 2 years before migrating to the U.S. in 2003. I challenged the boards in yr 2004 & fortunate enough to pass, I then completed my clinical training at Los Altos Sub Acute & Rehab Center-where I worked for 2 years after getting my PT license. I joined Kaiser May 2006 working in the hospital.

Personal Interest

Family, watching movies, listening to music, reading, browsing the internet.

Recommendations
