My Practice Philosophy

As part of a large medical team my goal is to provide the best patient care possible and provide the best Radiology support to my clinical colleagues.

My Biography

I was born in India where I spent the first 4 years of my life. I grew up partly in Canada and partly in the U.S.A. I received my B.S. in Chemistry and my M.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1995. I completed my Diagnostic Radiology Residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation and then went on to complete a Fellowship in Thoracic Radiology at the University of California- San Francisco. I joined the Permanente Medical Group in 2000. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and am a member of the Society of Thoracic Radiology.

My Interests

My professional areas of interest include HRCT and interstitial lung disease. In addition to English, I am fluent in Gujarati and can speak some conversational Hindi and French. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband and 2 children.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
