Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Hello and welcome to my homepage! I hope you will get a chance to know a little about me and you will find this home page helpful.

My name is Richard Samson; I am a physical therapist with the department of Physical Therapy at the Kaiser Permanente Stockton Medical Offices.

About Me

I graduated from the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City, Philippines with a bachelor of science in medical technology in 1991. I finished my physical therapy degree in Perpetual Help College, Philippines in 1995. I have been working as a physical therapist here in the United States since 1996. Most of my interest and experience are in geriatrics and orthopedic rehabilitation. I am currently working on advancing my education towards my doctorate in physical therapy.

My family and my faith are very important to me, thus I am active in the church we attend. In addition to English, I also speak Filipino to help and serve my patients better.

My Philosophy of Care

I believe that each and every one of us is unique, so I tailor my treatment to my patient’s individual needs. I am goal oriented, so I work closely with you to determine what your specific goals are and we work together to achieve them. On your first visit I will be getting to know you and will be doing tests and assessment to figure out the best way to help with your condition. Your input is important so we can figure out a plan that will work best for you. I use exercises and hands on therapy to help you feel and move better. I believe that these treatments can help you get to a level of activity you desire with lasting results.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
