My Story

I was born in India where my parents were missionaries. I was raised in Canada and moved to the US for college. I met my wife while in medical school.

I completed both my medical degree and residency at Loma Linda University in California. While there I had the opportunity to train in the surgical departments of Kaiser hospitals in Southern California. I admired their system of care and the quality of the medical staff so when looking for a place to practice in 2000, I felt very comfortable in the system. My family and I also fell in love with the Sacramento area, so here I am!

I am board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and specialize in Vascular Surgery. I currently serve on the Utilization Management Committee and I enjoy working with the senior residents from the UC Davis Surgery program. I am a member of the American College of Surgery.

I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.

My Healthcare Practice

As a vascular surgeon, I feel that I can positively impact people’s health through combinations of lifestyle modification, medical management, and surgery. The practice of vascular surgery has technically challenging approaches to complex medical problems that can be very rewarding. My practice offers endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms.

Receiving Your Healthcare From Kaiser Permanente

One of the advantages of the Kaiser system is the team approach. Physicians, medical assistants, nurses, and support staff all work in a team fashion to provide the best care for the patients. I am able to practice surgery with the patient's well-being as my primary concern. I can get the resources I need to advance my practice for my patient's benefit. The Kaiser computer system simplifies my job by having patient information at my fingertips and facilitating communication with patients and colleagues.

My Outside Interests

I enjoy family time, reading, movies, sports, and am a marginal but persistent golfer. I also volunteer for Rockmed by providing medical care at local concerts.
