My Biography

I knew Physical Therapy would be a good fit for me as I have always been a fitness enthusiast and enjoy working with people. I am especially interested in orthopedic and sports related rehabilitation, but enjoy the diversity and interesting cases among all my clients.

I joined Kaiser Permanente San Francisco because of the department's commitment to continuing education. The team atmosphere, physician support, and opportunity to work in a variety of departments and settings has kept me here over 15 years. As does the fact that San Francisco is such a beautiful, vibrant, and diverse city.

I am true believer in a balanced lifestyle to maintain good health and happiness, and will always provide resources to help you manage any factors that may be contributing to your musculoskeletal problem (stress, fitness, diet, etc.). I enjoy working collaboratively with my patients to develop a personalized plan to set and achieve functional goals. A successful rehab outcome will depend on commitment to the program we develop.

I moved to the Bay Area in 1993, and shortly after married my high school sweetheart. After many adventurous travels together, we now spend most of our free time with our school age daughter. I maintain regular fitness training, running and yoga, and enjoy golf and skiing.

My Credentials

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
