To My Patients:

Welcome to my Internet Home Page. Thank you for your interest and taking the time to learn more about me and the Radiology Department at Kaiser Permanente Stockton. There are a number of links to clinical information, as well as a link to the web sites of other members of our department. You can even use this site to refill prescriptions, or request an appointment with your personal physician.

About Me:

I was born in a little town in Southern India. I moved to New Delhi when I was a young boy. During my childhood, I had traveled extensively in the Middle East and I had lived in Iraq in the late 1970’s. I immigrated to the United States in 1979. I received my medical degree from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. I then joined the military and traveled throughout Asia for four years. I completed my residency at Los Angeles County and University of Southern California Hospital (LAC+USC).

In the Air Force, I served as a general medicine doctor and I was based in South Korea. During my service, I developed an interest in radiology and therefore, when I returned to Los Angeles to be with my family, I decided to focus my residency in radiology at University of Southern California Hospital. After residency, I became a staff radiologist at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Sacramento, CA.

At the time, some of my friends are working for Kaiser Permanente and are very happy with the system. Being a member myself since I was a child, I am always satisfied with the services I received. Moreover, Kaiser Permanente is a well-established organization; the success and growth of the Central Valley Service Area attracted me to join the Stockton Medical Offices in September 2005.

My medical interests include special cardiovascular imaging and advanced diagnostic imaging. My personal interests include hiking, biking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I also enjoy traveling.

My Philosophy of Care:

When I was in college, one of my philosophy professors taught me that I need to strive to excel in whatever I do. He also taught me to practice medicine both as an art and a science. The inspiration he provided me has been very valuable in my personal and professional interactions.

My approach to treating patients is simple. Treat them the way I would want to be treated if I were in their shoes. Being able to empathize with others is a valuable asset. My diverse experiences both personal and professional will greatly help in communicating with others in this culturally diverse society of ours.

It is a privilege to work with such a dedicated group of technologists, nurses, and support staff in the department of Radiology, and throughout Kaiser Permanente Central Valley.

Our entire Radiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you need to schedule an appointment in the Department of Radiology at Dale Road Medical Offices or you have questions about your care in our department, please call (209) 476-2111. For results of your screenings, please contact your primary care provider. Thank you.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
