I was born and raised in Chicago. I joined The Permanente Medical Group in 1985 and since that time have been an active member of the Department of Allergy. I currently serve as Chief of Allergy and Immunology for the Greater Southern Alameda Area, as well as Elected Representative for the Board of Directors for TPMG. I am a member of the Alameda Contra Costa Medical Society as well as the California Medical Association.

I am married and have one daughter. I am involved in my community through volunteering as Director of children’s asthma camps. I am on the Board of Directors for the American Lung Association of the East Bay.
