Welcome to my website! I hope you find the links useful and informative to help you improve your health.

I was born in the Philippines and grew up in Seattle, Washington, eventually going to college and medical school at the University of Washington. After graduating from medical school, I decided I had enough of the wet weather and came to California for my residency training in Family Medicine at the Stanford/San Jose Medical Center Family Meidcine Residency Program where I was also a Chief Resident. After graduation, I joined Kaiser Permanente. I was a faculty consultant at the Stanford program for a period of time.

I have been with the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group since 1980, when I worked at the Santa Teresa facility. I transferred to Milpitas as one of the "pioneers" when we first opened this medical office in 1983. I was the Chief of the Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine departments from 1983-1994. I currently practice occupational medicine, minor injury and do consultations in sports medicine. I am board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. I am a member of the Santa Clara County Medical Association and California Medical Association.

I enjoy running, fishing, taking photographs and playing jazz piano. I am also fond of techology and computers. I am fluent in tagalog and ilocano.

I welcome your comments and suggestions in making this site useful to you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
