“The limits of your language are the limits of your world." - Ludwig Wittgenstein

Welcome to Pediatric Speech Therapy at Kaiser Santa Clara! I’d like to introduce myself to you, so we can work as partners in your child’s health care and communication development.

A native south San Jose girl, I am a third generation bay area resident. It has been mentioned that I became a speech therapist because I love to talk…and that might not be wrong!

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology from Loma Linda University in 2004. I received my Masters of Science in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University in 2006, with a master’s endorsement in Early Intervention and Alternative and Augmentative Communication. Finally, I received my Certificate of Clinical Competence in 2007 and have been a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association since 2006.

All my clinical experience and continuing education has been focused towards children. Since graduating school, I have had the opportunity to practice in early intervention, clinical settings, schools, and a pediatric sub-acute hospital with the medically fragile. I love working with kids and am very excited to be involved in the pediatric speech therapy rehab program here at Kaiser Santa Clara.

On a personal note, spending time with friends and family keep me pretty busy and I am always looking for a new experience to try…including running a marathon, a triathlon, ballroom dancing lessons, and I even recently tried an intro to Conversational Spanish class! Next on my list are cooking classes and tennis lessons.

I feel it is important that all of your questions and concerns are addressed. Please feel free to call me at (408) 851-3059 if you have any questions about your speech therapy. I’m looking forward to working with you!
