Welcome to my home page!

I hope that this page will help you attach a person to a name. As you are aware, an anesthesiologist is mostly behind the scenes and our brief but vital interaction is almost forgotten. I have joined Kaiser Permanente as I believe in this system. This is the only system that can address the health care needs of a family from birth through all events of life with a focus on preventive care. For years, I have been in both academic and private practice; hence the decision to move to this organization was a well researched move. I am specialized and board certified in both the specialties of anesthesiology and pain management. I feel that helping patients with their acute and chronic needs gives me the best balance of my profession.

I have been blessed with two little girls and most of my time revolves around my family. We enjoy traveling, hiking and visiting friends. I involve myself in various communal events as my token of appreciation and respect for my neighbors. I intend to spend more time in volunteer activities that would benefit the youth as they are the future.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
