Welcome to my home page!

I hope your visit to my page provides you with information that is helpful regarding my background, training and clinical experience.

I am native to the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up in Berkeley. I attended college at California State University at Hayward where I earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. After finishing my studies at Hayward, I attended University of California at Berkeley where I received a second Bachelor of Science Degree in Vision Science and also my professional Degree on Optometry.

Shortly after completing my studies at Cal, I worked four years in a private Ophthalmology practice where I did specialty contact lens fittings. I really enjoyed this position because often I was able to give vision to people who unfortunately normally had poor sight.

I joined the Kaiser team in 2002 and since then have enjoyed the experiences I have had with both my patients and colleagues. One of the things I really love about working at Kaiser is that I am really able to concentrate my undivided time on providing patient care. I have the utmost confidence in the ability and skill of our whole team of eye care practitioners and am proud to be part of this team.

I am a member in good standing of both the America Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. I am also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and serve as a Clinical Examiner for the National Board of Examiners for Optometry.

In my free time I enjoy cycling, cooking, traveling, listening to music and spending time with my family.
