My Philosophy of Care:

I believe the doctor-patient relationship is central to the practice of medicine and is essential for the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

About Me:

I was born and raised in Vestal, New York. I attended Wilkes University for my undergraduate education in Biology and Chemistry. My medical education was completed at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2002. I attended the University of Rochester, School of Medicine & Dentistry for my pediatric residency training which I completed in 2005. I finished my neonatal and perinatal medicine fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2008. I am board certified in Pediatrics.

My medical interests include neonatal nutrition and follow up care. When I’m not at work, I enjoy cooking, painting and gardening. In addition to English, I speak Gujarati.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
