My Biography

I have been with the Kaiser Permanente family of physicians since 2004, first as a resident at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco and then as a hospitalist at the same facility. I left the bay area briefly from 2009-2011 to do a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Washington, Seattle. After fellowship, I accepted a position as Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington, teaching residents and fellows; something I enjoy immensely. During my time as instructor, I continued research in lupus and published a number of papers and abstracts on various rheumatic syndromes. When a position became available, I returned to the Bay Area in 2012 to join the Rheumatology Division in Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara, Homestead campus, as an associate physician. Both my husband and I enjoy living in northern California and plan to settle here long-term. I'm very excited and honored by the opportunity to care for the patients of the bay area.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
