Welcome to Physical Therapy! I look forward to meeting with you and learn how I can best assist you in your rehabilitation. Together we will develop a program that may allow you to return to the activities that you enjoy. I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce myself.

I was born and raised in Sweden. After finishing high school I decided to travel. I saw many fantastic places, but California stole my heart and I decided to pursue a career here. I earned a Bachelors of Arts in Biology at University of California, Santa Cruz, with Highest Honors in the Major and Phi Beta Kappa. I then proceeded to earn my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at University of California, San Francisco.

I received an offer to join the Kaiser Santa Clara Physical Therapy Team after completing my last clinical internship at this facility in 2002. I’m very excited to be a part of this great department. I enjoy the opportunities for professional growth offered at Kaiser and I have expanded my clinical skills through numerous continuing education classes. Aside from treating patients individually, I also teach the back class.

I’d like to spend my free time outdoors hiking with my dogs, playing soccer, riding horses and having fun at the beach or a nearby park with my two fabulous boys!

Please, take the opportunity to explore the resources available at www.kp.org. If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to contact me through my website or secure messaging. You can also call me at (408)851-1471.

Have a beautiful day!

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
