Welcome to my home page!

I am pleased to offer this web site as a means to provide helpful medical information for my patients, as well as an opportunity for you to learn more about me. I hope that through this medium I will be able to better serve you with the most up-to-date information, useful handouts, and helpful web links.

I started working for Kaiser in November 1996 in the Antioch facility, where I worked as a case manager in the intensive outpatient program. In 1997, I was trained thru Kaiser to teach classes on managing anger. In September 1997, I began teaching that class here at San Rafael, which I have continued to do through the present time. In January of 1998, I transferred to Kaiser San Rafael, where I work on a full time basis. Besides teaching anger management classes, my work here consists of facilitating groups in the IOP (intensive outpatient program) for adults. I also provide case management for patients referred by providers in the clinic.

On a personal note, some of my hobbies include hiking, photography, art, antique restoration, and writing.

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and medical group here at Kaiser-San Rafael, and I hope that we can always provide the highest quality of care and service to you.

The following outline is a brief synopsis about how I came to work with the staff here at Kaiser-San Rafael:

Professional School: UC San Francisco
License: LCSW14720
Languages Spoken: English
With Kaiser Since: 1996

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
