About Me

Fascination with mankind and how children develop into adults led me to concentrate in psychology. I earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree at universities in New Jersey and then a Doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Nebraska. I have been a provider at Kaiser Permanente since 1993. I have worked with children, teens, adults and families in a variety of settings and because of the diversity of issues I explore with my patients, I still love what I do.

I especially enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente because of the range of care available under one roof along with the professionalism and variety of people served.

On my days off, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, exercising and watching movies.

The easiest way to contact me is by sending me an E-mail to paul.reiser@kp.org. I check my E-mail regularly, so if you don't hear back from me within a day or so, please resend the message.

If coming for a first appointment, please be advised that the building is in a small shopping center between Broadway and Sonoma Boulevard, not at the Hospital.

If you need to contact someone after business hours, call the main number, 645-2700, and you'll be put through to the Psychiatric After-Hours Call Center, which has clinical staff that can be quite helpful. Therapists and a psychiatrist are available for consultation.

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
