About Me

I graduated from Sacramento State University with a BS degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Social Work. I went on to get a PhD degree in Human and Organizational Systems from the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara. I have several publications that I developed related to child abuse and mandated reporting. I have a varied background in forensics, working several years with the criminally insane and prisoners who were mentally ill.

I am licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I currently work in the Department of Psychiatry for Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the Crisis Team.

The Crisis Team provides treatment and intervention for psychological emergencies. Our clinicians work on a multi-disciplinary team that is made up of MDs, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Marriage Family Therapists. We provide treatment and intervention at Sacramento, Morse Avenue and Roseville Parkway out-patient clinics, the Roseville and Sacramento Emergency Departments and the Roseville and Sacramento in-patient medicine units.

I have supervised several students toward their licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Workers. I enjoy the company of good friends and sitting in my rose garden.
