Welcome to my Home Page!

I am Patricia Wieser and I practice at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Redwood City, California. I am a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Marin County, California. I received my bachelors and master’s degree from San Francisco State University and have worked in many areas of nursing. I joined Kaiser Redwood City in 1997 after completing my nurse practitioner program and worked in the Department of Medicine for seven years. I joined the orthopedic department, which has been a wonderful change in my career. I work very closely with the orthopedists and podiatrists to prepare patients for surgery and participate in their post-operative care.

It is my goal to make your surgical experience comfortable and problem free. My philosophy is to have patients contribute to their well-being by becoming involved in their care. I enjoy working at Kaiser Permenente because I feel I can make a difference in my patients health by working more closely with them.

I am married and have three children. I enjoy working at my children’s school and help with their athletic teams. I enjoy reading, running and aerobic dance classes.

If you have any questions, you can contact me at the orthopedic department at (650) 299-2160.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
