** I am a certified athletic trainer and physical therapy assistant **

About me

I began my athletic training career in high school by participating in the athletic training program, where I began working with the athletes in both the care and prevention of athletic injuries. That experience helped to direct my interests and focus on physical therapy as a career. I like my work because I have a great team of people to work with, and I enjoy working with patients.

My clinical interests include sports medicine. I am a certified athletic trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. When I’m not at work you’ll find me staying active with skiing, hiking, volleyball, swimming, cycling, and watching my kids swim and play basketball and water polo.

My education and training:

Undergraduate Degree BS, Physical Education, emphasis in Athletic Training, Sacramento State University
Licensure Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Physical Therapy Board of California
Certification Certified Athletic Trainer (AT,C), National Athletic Trainers Association
Memberhsip California Athletic Trainers Association
Membership National Athletic Trainers Association

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
