My Interests:
On a professional note, I take active interest in clinical research and have presented posters at scientific meetings.
During my free time, I love playing on the computer, reading books, spending time with my family and traveling.
My Background:
I was born in Worcestor, Massachusetts and later raised in Bombay, India. I have been in Ohio for the past 14 years. I graduated from Seth Gorbandas Sunderdas Medical CollegeBombay, India in 1989. I completed my internal medicine residency, geriatrics fellowship and cardiology fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. I subsequently did fellowship training in heart failure and transplant at University Hospital Case Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University(CWRU). I am also Board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008.
I have been on faculty at University Hospitals as an Assistant Professor of Medicine for the last seven years. I was then recruited by Kaiser Permanente to join the transplant team.
