Welcome! I’m glad you took this time to know me as I sincerely hope to know you if you become part of my practice. I was born in Tanzania, East Africa but spent the greater part of my growing years in Nigeria where I also obtained my medical education. I am passionate about meeting and making a difference in people’s lives and studying medicine gave me a great opportunity to achieve these simultaneously.

In 2000, I traveled to the U.S.A. to join my husband and since then have come to love this country. In the past 10 years, I became the mother of three lovely kids and in addition completed my Internship and Residency in Family Medicine at New York and Kaiser Fontana Medical Center respectively.

During my practice as a Family Practitioner, I discovered I was particularly drawn to the needs of the elderly and this led to my subsequent decision to receive Fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine. Kaiser Permanente Hospital is one of the bedrocks of Health Care and I am glad to be part of this institution. You can expect to receive the quality, empathic and integrated medical care that we are known for.

In my spare time, I enjoy biking and spectator sports especially basketball and football. I love to spend time with my family and we like to volunteer at our local shelter. It is my sincere hope that you would become a part of my practice and take advantage of the many resources listed on my web page.

Geriatrics Medicine is a specialty that studies the function, care and medical conditions of the Elderly. Disease processes in the elderly often does not follow the same pattern as in the younger population. Some conditions are unique to the elderly folks and most times these go unrecognized by friends and family members. At other times, the natural process of aging modifies a particular disease process in the elderly. Identifying geriatric conditions and working with you and your family to make these later years graceful are skills grown amongst geriatricians.

By ensuring you receive quality health care while attending to particular issues that will improve your daily well being, I will work with you to make these golden years truly so. Growing older is a blessing and I intend to help you make this so.
