The ability to care and heal has been my driving force to being a nurse. It started as a child playing doctor and caring for imaginary patients. When I entered my first year at the University of California San Diego, I knew what I wanted to do and pursued the health care profession with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience. Realizing that caring and listening is critical to healing; I decided that I wanted a more personal relationship with my patients which made nursing the obvious choice. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Nursing from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center).

I have been with Kaiser since 2003, working as an Emergency Department RN (8 years) and now as a Nurse Practitioner with the Perioperative Medicine Department where I will continue to passionately care for my patients to help them “THRIVE”.

When I am not working, I am both a wife and caring mother to my child. In my leisure time, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
