My Biography
I received my undergraduate and medical degrees from Howard University, graduating from the College of Medicine in 1991. I completed my residency at Winthrop University Hospital in New York, a fellowship in Nuclear Radiology at Stanford University Hospital, and a fellowship in Body Imaging from Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. I am board certified by both the American Board of Radiology and American Board of Nuclear Medicine. I am also certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003.
My Interests
Within Radiology, my special interest is in cross sectional imaging (CT/MRI). In Nuclear Medicine, my special interest is in PET imaging(used mostly for cancer imaging). Feel free to visit the links on this page which are to sites describing various radiologic and nuclear medicine procedures as well as sites that describe different medical conditions that may be pertinent to you.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, astronomy and playing the sitar.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
