About Me

I was born in India and I was told that I am a Hindu. I am not a religious person, but I believe I am a spiritual being. I believe in the universal self and the universality of mankind where there is only one race the race of humanity, one religion the religion of love, and service to humanity is service to divinity. These teachings have been said by many Indian revered spiritual masters.

My passion has always been seva (service) and I feel very blessed to be given an opportunity in this life to serve mankind through this noble profession. I have also founded a non profit charity organization called Home of Hope Inc. whose mission is to raise funds which will improve the lives of orphaned, destitute and other wise disadvantaged children.

My other hobbies are skiing (that I have been doing for over 20 yrs) exercise, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and 2 dogs.

I was born in Bihar, India. I did my medical training from Bangalore medical college, Bangalore, India. I did my residency and chief residency training in pathology from UCSF San Francisco. I am board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.

My philosophy

I believe in HIS principle (Humility, Integrity, and Sincerity) which I apply to my work. I try to give each case my very BEST.... In treating each specimen like my very own. There is no ego involved and I have no problem in acknowledging and accepting, many a time...I don’t know. At this point I apply the principle ‘WHEN IN DOUBT SEND IT OUT,’...Which means...consultation with Special Immuno Histochemistry work up.

We at Kaiser are very fortunate to have such an excellent, consultation service…where each case is given the most effective and detailed work-up to reach the right diagnosis for efficient patient care.

I also believe that good patient care requires TEAM WORK...and one must always maintain good positive energy with your colleagues and staff.

My Credentials

Medical school Bangalore University-Medicine, Bangalore, India
Residency Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Los Angeles, CA
Fellowship UC San Francisco School of Medicine, San Francisco, CA
Board certification Pathology - Anatomic and Clinical, American Board of Pathology
