About Me

Education: University of California San Francisco, 1996
Residency: Clinical Mentorship in manual therapy 2002, Kaiser Hayward
Joined Kaiser in: 2001

As a physical therapist, I continue to be fascinated by the human body’s capacity to heal itself. Working in a profession that can have a direct role in that healing process continues to fulfill and challenge me on a daily basis. It’s very rewarding to help people navigate through the process of recovering from illness and injury.

I grew up in California and spend most of my free time exploring this amazing place. Rock climbing and backpacking in the Sierra, hiking on Mt. Tamalpais or sea kayaking on Tomales Bay are some of the ways I spend my time away from work. I keep in shape with Yoga and commuting on my bike between Kaiser Richmond and my house in Berkeley. When I’m home, I spend time cooking and teaching classes at the local climbing gym.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
