Welcome!
As your physician, I value my relationship with you. I know that maintaining a good relationship means being able to communicate with each other. You can e-mail me, check your lab results, make an appointment, access our many online programs or get information about a particular health topic - any time it's convenient for you on kp.org
I was born and raised in California. At U.C. Berkeley, I received my B.A. in Molecular & Cellular Biology, B.S. in Vision Science & Doctorate in Optometry. Prior to my O.D., I worked at Stanford to help complete the Human Genome Project.
I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2005 and since that time have been an active member of the Optometry Department. I am proud to work at Kaiser Permanente with very skilled doctors and an exceptional staff. We are dedicated in working as a team to provide you with the best possible care. If you need to schedule an appointment or want further information, please phone us at 510-675-2023.
It is extremely important to me that my patients receive the best eye care, the best possible vision and eye health. Working at Kaiser Permanente, with my experienced colleagues and advanced technology, allows me to give outstanding patient care. I truly enjoy my relationships with my patients and look forward to working with you to take the best possible care of your eyes and vision. I hope that you will take advantage of the kp.org tools and e-mail me with any questions or concerns.
Happily married since 2000, my husband and I welcomed our daughter, Isra (pronounced like “kiss-rah” but without the “k”), to our family in 2010. In 2008, I finished the 26.2 mile Walt Disney World Marathon with my best friend Teresa. In 2010, I had the adventure of pregnancy and a new baby! Now it’s an adventure to find time to sleep.
My reading selection has changed a lot since my young daughter has come along. I’m currently reading (and rereading) Maurice Sendak’s “Chicken Soup with Rice” & “Pierre: A Cautionary Tale” as well as “Goodnight Moon”, “Goodnight California”, “Goodnight New York”, Dr. Seuss’ “Eye Book”, and anything with Elmo.
