Welcome to my home page!
I am a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Jose, CA. After attending Pioneer High School in San Jose, I headed on to the University of California, Davis where I studied Biological Sciences and Nutrition. The following four years were spent at the University of California, Berkeley where I studied Optometry. Having been raised in an optometric family (my mother is also an optometrist working for Kaiser Permanente), I had the opportunity to explore optometry as a child and as a student at Davis. I found optometry to be a dynamic and challenging profession with no two patients, or eyes alike!
Practice Philosophy
Now as an optometrist, I enjoy being able to provide a quality eye exam to children and adults alike including checking the health of the eyes. I strongly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of preventative medicine. I strive to educate my patients on the importance of yearly eye examinations to help in the early detection of any eye diseases or health conditions that may affect the eyes. The Kaiser Permanente atmosphere allows me to collaborate with other specialists if needed to ensure that my patients receive the full care that they need in regards to their eyes as well as general health. I enjoy listening to my patients and try my best to provide thorough examinations in a friendly, compassionate manner.
My Personal Side
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am involved in various community projects in connection with the local Baha’i community. I enjoy traveling and learning other languages. I look forward to being your optometrist and answering any questions you may have about your vision and eye health.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
