Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Hello, I would like to welcome you to my page. My name is Natalie Lee. I have practiced anesthesia since 1993. I look forward to meeting you should your needs include anesthesia care.

About Me

I was educated at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. My medical training consisted of fellowship training in anesthesia for liver transplant at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, TX; anesthesiology residency training at Martin Luther King Charles Drew Medical Center, in Los Angeles; and pediatrics internship at Kaiser Permanente Sunset Medical Center.

My practice started in Orange County, CA and followed in Dallas, TX. I have experienced a variety of practice formats: solo private practice; multi-specialty group practice; to locum tenums. I have chosen to continue my practice as a Kaiser Permanente physician because in my opinion, Kaiser Permanente is one of few health care systems that have held on to the traditional principle of medicine: “Taking care of the patient before and after they become ill”. That is why I became a doctor, educating and helping patients in need of medical and surgical care. Kaiser Permanente Central Valley allows me to do this in a wonderful semi rural-urban environment satisfying my rural Texas roots.

I was born in San Antonio, TX and raised by the greatest parents ever created. I am the eldest of two. My younger sister is a Kaiser Permanente registered nurse in Southern California where we were raised.

At leisure, I enjoy family activities. I have been happily married for more than 20 years to my college sweetheart and together we are rearing three great children. I enjoy making jewelry, yoga and being active in church and community activities.

Besides English, I am fluent in Spanish.

My Philosophy of Care

My philosophy of practicing medicine is a good fit with that of the Kaiser Permanente's philosophy. We believe in not only taking care of acute illnesses and treating the entire patient, we also try to teach patients the importance of preventative care and health maintenance, which is the most important thing we have, OUR HEALTH!

Our entire Anesthesiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your pre-operative office visit, please call (209) 476-3633.

Thank you again for viewing my home page!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
