My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am a physical therapist working with a variety of patients in an out-patient setting. I enjoy working one-on-one with people through the stages of healing and rehabilitation.

My Practice Philosophy

I believe in a non-invasive, holistic approach to healing. I believe in considering the person as a whole when providing rehabilitative services. I believe each individual has the biggest responsibility to be an active participant in his/her health care.

Why I Like Practicing Medicine at Kaiser Permanente

I was fortunate enough to have an internship at Kaiser Permanente out-patient physical therapy in South Sacramento. There I was exposed to the Kaiser system and decided this is a great environment to provide my services. I value being a part of a team with open communication between other providers such as primary care physicians, surgeons, neurologists, etc.

Professional Interests

My interests and continuing education are in manual therapy and sports rehabilitation.

On a Personal Note. . .

I was born and raised in the south bay and came to Sacramento in 2000. When I am not working I enjoy swimming, cycling and spending time with my husband and daughter.

My Credentials

BS, Kinesiology San Jose State University
MS, Physical Therapy California State University – Sacramento

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
