About Me
Welcome to the Behavioral Medicine services at Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Myhanh Le, Ph.D.
I was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and came to the United States in 1981. I attended San Jose State University and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Then, I completed my studies at Southern Illinois University, receiving a Masters of Science and a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. I finished my pre-doctoral internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Afterwards, I returned to California and started at Kaiser Permanente, Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center in 1997, where I finished my post-doctoral fellowship. I was then hired on as a Health Psychologist.
I specialize in the treatment of stress related problems such as insomnia, depression, anxiety, and chronic medical conditions. I appreciate the opportunity to practice collaboratively on a primary care team to improve the care of Kaiser Permanente members.
Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, cooking, gardening and spending time with my family and friends. I am married and have a beautiful two and a half year old son, whom I adore tremendously.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
