My Biography

Joined Kaiser Permanente Medical Group: 2004

I am a general internist, specialized in Geriatric Medicine. I choose Geriatric medicine as a specialty because it provides intellectual challenge and helps me connect to those who need most of our help. Prevention, moderation and treatment of disease in older adults is the focus of my specialty.

As a home health physician, I am involved in caring for Kaiser Members in nursing facilities where I help both custodial as well as skilled patients who need acute rehabilitation. I also perform house calls on selected house bound patients. My future plan is to set up a geriatric clinic with the help of my colleagues at Kaiser, where we will address issues specially related to that age group.

In addition to being board certified in internal medicine, I finished my geriatric training in Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, New York Medical College, Valhala. Currently, I am an active member of American Geriatric Society and American College of Physician.

TPMG is a great place to work where health care providers spend their quality time with patients. We have an excellent infrastructure and supportive service under one umbrella where we can provide the best care possible. In brief, at the end of the day I find my profession rewarding, both for me and my patients.

In my spare time, I like to spend my time with family and friends. I also love to read and travel.

Our goal at Kaiser Permanente is to be your health plan of choice and deliver the quality medical care our members deserve. Thank you again for choosing Kaiser Permanente.
