I was born and raised in Ohio. After High School, I continued my education at the University of Cincinnati where I earned a Bachelor of Science. I received my Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D.) from Wright State University – School of Professional Psychology.

While in undergrad, I worked in a couple of community- based mental health settings. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Cleveland Veterans Administration. During my postdoctoral fellowship at the Wright State University, I mainly completed psychological testing and gave professors input regarding reasonable accommodations for students. My affinities to both teach and facilitate groups were strengthened during my postdoc year.

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2005. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist through the California Board of Psychology (License number PSY 20766). Currently I serve as the Director of the Postdoctoral Residency Program. My areas of interest include anxiety, Mind- Body Medicine, and cultural issues. My hobbies include running and biking.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
