My Biography
I came to Kaiser Permanente because I sought a diverse practice with a nonprofit status and excellent commitment to patients. In the absence of financial incentives or insurance concerns, patients truly come first. I am able to focus on practicing medicine with considerable autonomy, and without the burden of running the business side of a medical practice.
As part of my Kaiser Permanente residency, I am able to gain experience in practices ranging from critical care to ambulatory outpatient medicine. I do feel as though I make a true difference in patients’ lives. Areas of special interest to me include cardiology, dylipidemias, thrombophilias, and hypertension.
My hobbies are boating, hiking, and playing table tennis. I very much enjoy spending time with my wife Shazia, my son Bilal, and daughter, Fatima.
