My Biography

I received my Bachelor of Science at the University of Minnesota, and Doctorate of Medicine from Tehran University. I completed my Anesthesiology Residency at The State University of New York in Buffalo. I have a special interest in interventional pain management.

I came to the Bay Area for its diversity in 1991, and joined The Permanente Medical Group in South San Francisco. I chose Kaiser Permanente for its integrated care and collegial relationship between providers, resulting in the excellent care that we provide for our patients.

When I am not taking care of patients I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hiking, and reading.
