My Biography

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003 after 14 years as practicing clinician. I obtained my degree as a psychologist in Madrid, Spain in 1990, and later earned a doctorate degree in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. I am happy to be able to offer services as a clinical psychologist in English and Spanish. I work with the Child and Adolescent team providing services to children and families in different modalities of treatment - individual, family, and couples therapy. I also teach psychoeducational classes and run therapy groups as well as provide psychological assessment for other clinicians' patients on a consultation basis.

When I am not working at Kaiser (I am here Tuesday-Thursday only), I work on my own mental health by spending time with my family and friends. I treasure the time I spend raising my three boys, volunteering at their school, and doing nature walks as a family.

I'm proud of providing my services in the child and adolescent team. I firmly believe in working with families and I am looking forward to provide my expertise to you. My goal in working with you is to collaborate with you in improving your quality of life.

If you'll click on "Mental Health Information and Web Sites" in the blue box at the left of my Home Page, you'll find lots of useful information on a variety of topics such as Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Eating Disorders and others. Please feel free to explore the various links on my Home Page. I want you to get the information you need, and to be able to find answers to as many of your questions as possible.

I hope you find it interesting.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
