Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Welcome to my home page. Thank you for taking the time to give me the opportunity to introduce myself. I hope that you find the information helpful.

About Me

I graduated from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School here in Stockton. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development from University of California, Davis. I also earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology in Alameda, CA. I completed my clinical training at Berkeley Mental Health in Berkeley and at the University of California Davis Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry in Sacramento. My clinical training continued when I began to work for Kaiser Permanente Stockton in July 2002 as a Psychological Assistant. I became a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (license number PSY21574) in July 2007. Coming to Kaiser Permanente Stockton has given me the opportunity to return to the community where I grew up. I find it rewarding to work in a community that I am very familiar with in the capacity of a health care professional. When I am not working, I can usually be found on a golf course.

My role at Kaiser Permanente is to see patients upon their first visit to the Department of Psychiatry to assess treatment needs. I may be one of the first clinicians you meet with if you seek mental health services. I also see patients who are in crisis and in need of immediate intervention. My area of expertise is in the area of crisis intervention. I have over eight years of experience working on a crisis unit at the Sacramento County Mental Health Treatment Center and Crisis Intervention Services for San Joaquin County Mental Health. I also facilitate the Bipolar Support Group and facilitate the Panic Disorder Group here in the Department of Psychiatry.

Philosophy of Care

I believe in treating my patients with the utmost respect and providing the best possible care. The patient’s needs and perspective are a priority. My goal is to help a patient to get his or her needs met from a clinical perspective without discounting a patient’s treatment needs from their own perspective. After all, no one knows a patient better than themselves.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.
