I have been an active staff member of the Health Education department for 10 years and I possess a Master of Science in Health Services Administration. My department exists to work with you in ensuring that you succeed in your endeavors.

The Health Education Department and its staff has discovered long-ago that embracing a broader definition of health, one that is emotional and includes mind, body and spirit, is critical to your success. Time and again, we heard that people want more than "insurance." They want a health advocate. In addition to treatment and traditional medicine, there is a need for a partnership to maintain healthy choices and attitudes around nutrition, exercise, psychological well-being and life balance.

We have pioneered programs, classes and clinical guidelines to encourage wellness in the mind, body and spirit. I am committed to prevention and promoting greater balance and health, not just treating illness. Our philosophy, in which our Health Educators and members work and make important decisions together, puts the member first.
