About Me

I was born and raised in San Francisco. During nursing school, I interned at the VA hospital in San Francisco in the intensive care unit. After graduation, I took a staff nurse position in their medical, surgical, and cardiac intensive care unit (ICU). I enjoyed caring for critically-ill patients and providing individualized care.

After two years of working in the ICU, I became more and more interested in pharmacology and physiology. I spent some time observing anesthesia providers in the ICU as well as in the operating room and decided to pursue a career in anesthesia. I chose anesthesia as a specialty because I understand that surgery and/or procedures can be a stressful time for patients and so I strive to provide you with a pleasant, safe anesthetic experience.

In my free time, I enjoy spending most of my time with my close friends and family.
