About Me

Having been born and raised in Ohio, I was anxious to dip my toes into the blue Pacific, so in 1978, my wife and I loaded up our VW Rabbit, pointed the compass west and headed to California. From 1978 through 1980, I was busy working as an anesthetist in Kaiser-Oakland and Kaiser-Santa Clara. My work at Kaiser was enjoyable, but we started a family and I was interested in exploring the life of a private anesthesia practicioner.

So with that in mind, we moved our young family to Los Angeles and over the next 25 years my practice grew, eventually becoming the largest CRNA based practice in California.

When our youngest went out on his own, my wife and I decided that the time was right to slow our lifestyle down, to move back to northern California, and to find "the perfect fit" for the balance of my career. And it was just such a fit that brought my to Kaiser-Santa Rosa.

I have always enjoyed providing quality anesthesia care to my patients, and although I have a ways to go prior to retiring, I intend to spend the time as a proud member of the anesthesia department here at Kaiser, Santa Rosa.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
