Welcome to My Home Page!

I began my career here with the Educational Theatre Programs* in 1990, which was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. While working within this department, I was inspired to earn my Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from St Mary's in 1997. In the Fall of 2000, I began working with the Health Education Department at the facility level.

As Health Educators, our expertise is in behavior change - a very difficult task for most people. I truly enjoy helping our members find and support their own healthier life choices - as well as working with those who have a chronic condition, helping them find the internal and external resources to lead a full, active life. Having the full support of Kaiser Permanente allows us to do this.

*Using the engaging medium of live theatre, these award-winning performances provide health information using age- appropriate, up-to-date facts which are necessary for making healthier life choices. They are offered free of charge to schools and communities. Visit their website by clicking here.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
