Welcome to My Home Page

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can always provide the highest possible quality of care and service to you.

The following outline is a synopsis about how I came to work with the staff here at Kaiser Permanente:

I was born and raised in the Philippines but I am of the Chinese race and then migrated here to the United States in my 20's. That probably explains all the languages and dialects I speak. I am then in a unique position of understanding the cultures of different people because of this, which I hope will help me take better care of my patients. English is my primary language, but I am also fluent in Filipino, Ilocano, Mandarin and Fookien, Chinese.

I chose to work with Kaiser Permanente right out of training because I am impressed and believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of not just paying for your medical bills but treating members as persons that we care for. Kaiser puts a big emphasis on prevention and keeping members healthy.

My Philosophy of Care may sound like a cliche but I think if you think of each patient as your own family you will not go wrong.

My clinical interest, of course, is hospital medicine because of the challenge, variety and satisfaction of treating the sickest patients.

I hope through this medium you got to know me better.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
