Welcome to my home page! I hope that this website will provide you a little about my background and help to locate the information that you need.

I received my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from University of CA, Davis and went on to receive my Doctorate of Pharmacy from University of Southern California. I continued my advanced degree and completed my clinical residency at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. I am also a certified diabetes educator and volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF School of Pharmacy.

Since coming to KP in 1998, I have worked in various ambulatory care clinics Hypertension, Diabetes and HIV. I am currently the HIV Clinical Pharmacist and the Drug Education Coordinator. I strive to ensure that my patients get quality care and greatly enjoy my interaction with my patients and the medical team. I also teach several patient classes: The Heart Smart (Multi-fit) Medication Course and the HIV positive Options Course at KP.

I enjoy working at Kaiser because of the complete integration of Healthcare. The clinical staff works closely together by which members can access the various specialists and experts for excellent care.

During my free time I enjoy spending time with my son, Sean, biking, running and helping my husband train for triathlons.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have drug information questions.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
