My Biography

I came to San Francisco on a vacation in May of 2003, and I fell in love with the city. I have an aunt who lives here and also works for Kaiser Permanente. She recruited me! I was offered a position, and relocated to the city one month later.

I love working for the Intervention Procedure Clinic. We have a great team of caring employees who work together to care for our members. At the end of the day, it’s nice to feel that you’ve made a difference in someone’s life.

Kaiser Permanente is a leader in health care technology. We have a user-friendly Internet site that allows members to make appointments with their providers online, e-mail their doctors through a secure messaging system, refill prescriptions, and arrange to have their medications mailed to them at home. The advent of Health Connect means that all of a patient’s providers, including specialists, can see a patient’s entire medical history at a glance. This kind of information-sharing is invaluable when it comes to arranging for referrals or prescribing new medications.

During my free time I enjoy staying active & traveling. I currently enjoy Bikram yoga, walking to work, and hiking. I love to play! I THRIVE by making sure that I eat healthy, balanced meals. I look forward to meeting and working with you at our clinic!

Undergraduate Education: BS in Nursing, State University of New York at Buffalo

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
